Faith Formation Coordinator

Katie King spent years studying medieval literature with a distinct focus on marriage, family and catechesis. For the last few years, Katie has taught OCIA at St. Francis. She is ready to assist individuals and families at St. Francis parish in learning and passing on our Catholic faith.

Since grad school, she has been raising a family of six children with her husband, Aaron. The youngest five have been homeschooled since 2007, and Katie has been involved with the local Catholic homeschooling community for many years.

Katie is a native of North Carolina, but has happily moved north to Meriden, CT for the four seasons and milder summers. Her hobbies are sewing, knitting, and enjoying the antics of her 3 kitties.
