Rev. Michael Casey
Pastor & Chaplain
The Rev. Michael T. Casey was born and raised in Waterbury, CT. He is a graduate of St. Charles Borromeo College Seminary in Philadelphia and the Pontifical North American College in Rome. Fr. Casey was ordained a priest on May 11, 2013 and the following year remained in Rome to complete a license in moral theology.
Since his return home, Fr. Casey has served at St. James Parish in Manchester, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury, and at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford. From 2018-2024 he held the role of Director of Vocations for the Archdiocese of Hartford. He has served as the Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi in New Britain since 2018 in addition to serving as chaplain to Central Connecticut State University.
